Always Been There!
it has always been there,
to be a part of me,
like when no one seems to care,
it will always be where it should be.
it has always been there,
like my flesh and soul,
it has always been there,
just like the oath i hold.
it has always been there,
from the start up till now.
it has always been there,
as if just like a strong vow.
it has always been there,
as if like my personal seer,
but reveals nothing of the future,
only a voice that my heart could hear.
it has always been there,
catching me unaware,
sometimes more than i can bear,
trusting more is what i've not dare.
but it has always been there,
just like a gift so rare,
for all i might know,
it might be the one who truly cares.
maybe i am illusioning,
maybe with me something is toying,
or maybe i am just hallucinating,
or perhaps i am simply dreaming.
perhaps it is there to be as guide,
to bring me out of darkness to the light,
drawing me out from the covers i hide,
to hold me and tell me it'd be alright.
