Although

Although Although you’re not that little baby I once gently held in my arms And although you’re not that tiny one To whom I stared at all its charms Although your fingers have really grown I still like them wrapped around my thumb And although your legs are twice as long I still enjoy them when they run Although your cries are ever few They still bring me on a dime And although your kisses are even fewer They still melt me every time Although you no longer sleep on my chest I still cuddle with you in bed And although you like your space On my arm you rest your head Although your favorite sleeper no longer fits It still hangs in your room And although we should pass it on That won’t happen none too soon Although rattles have been replaced with toys And a 4 in 1 stroller to a bike And although I can’t slow you down It’s something that I like Although these memories are of the past They stay imbedded in my mind And although time has moved on They are never hard to find
