Already Gone

Baby's layin' low tonight
Knew it when I seen him
Speakin' of a different time
Things that shoulda' been him
Time was when he'd never see
The doorway or the closing
Now he wants a different place
A change of his own choosing

Baby says he's leavin' soon
And I don't wanna see it
Says he needs some giving room
I seem to come between it
Guess there's always gonna be
A difference in the telling
Packaged up in pain the same
The magic's in the selling
