Along Came A Song

Sometimes, we need music. That’s what makes us tick. As human beings. The precious songs we sing. Even when it’s serious… Our sadness, precarious. Even when we sing off tune. We embrace our cocoon. Sometimes, we need silence. In order to make sense, Of a loss. Covering our eyes like moss. Music is not always kind. But the radio is sometimes divine. When we hear the right tune. It’s as if they are saying, “See you soon.” Sometimes, we need the right song. Sometimes, we cry as we sing along.

reminds me of road trips and the good old days with a radio, no fancy bluetooth or speaker. just singing along to every song that played with friends and family, feeling every lyric in your bones.
