Alone She Cries

She only wanders in the rain,
So no one can see her tears,
Others seeing all her pain,
Is one of her biggest fears,

Scared of rejection, yet craving affection,
Alone she'll always lay,
Giving her heart, comes easy to her,
No matter what others may say,

She deems herself not worthy enough,
Though she knows that's not the truth,
Her heart is just to fragile now,
It can't be fixed with glue,

Love or trust,
No one from above,
Can ever fix her heart,
Alone, she claims is easier,
Forget it before it starts.

Cutting all ties,
Is how she survives,
She closes her eyes,
So they won't see her cry,
Don't bother to try,
Don't ask her why,
This is her life,
It's how she gets by...
