Alone In the Woods

Wind blowing softly
moonlight lights the way
down to the tree.
Climbing high above
you sit alone
waiting on the sun to arise.
So tranquil with the breeze
you fall into daze
seeing a trophy
just out of reach.
You awake
to warm rays
on your face.
Still so peaceful
as you gaze
upon open land.
Squirrels chatter away
as a new day
arrives in bright array.
Leaves rustle
down below
to your dismay.
Rabbits running too
and fro
through the leaves below .
Out aways
you see a doe
meander alone.
