Alone I Walk Through This World

Alone I Walk Through This World

Alone I live
Alone I sleep
Alone I grieve
Alone I weep

I retreat to myself
For there is no one around
My solitude confines
To this I am bound

Alone I rise
Alone I fall
Alone I run
Alone I crawl

Below is from where I’ve come
Above is where I belong
The depths want to capture
Yet I was there far too long

Alone I breakdown
Alone I overcome
Alone I cry out
Alone comes freedom
