Alone

It would break her heart
If she could see you now
Sitting in a bar all alone
You're falling apart cos you broke your vow

You've lost your dignity and your home
What can I do to help you?
You're in such pain, it breaks my heart
All I can do for you is listen
But you won't know where to start

If only you'd accept my help
And let me take you home
There must be something I can do
So you'll no longer be alone

I tell you that I'm going
But you say that you'll stay
So I bid you a fond farewell
Then I go on my way
