Alone

I know this beast It devours slowly Takes away the sparkle of hope From the eyes of wandering lost souls No one to hold on to In the darkness The second hand strikes out the years Devoid of the joyous sounds of laughter Only voices you hear are your own Shouting the pain of being alone

well, please let me know if there is any older poem of yours I may have missed. I probably have read all your poetry by now. I enjoy your work.

I came here to see if I'd seen the last one you wrote before I stopped seeing you . It is a very sad one and I hope it is not an indication of your own mood right now. Please drop me a line so I know if you are ok or not!!
