Burning inside, cold as ice, emotions drained feelings lost Head spinning,the world still, can’t keep my feet on the ground Heart ringing, ears pounding, why am I alone Where is my life, where is my love, what a cruel trick fate has played My heart aches, too quiet, so alone I see a glimpse of what the future holds, and then I get excited My life, my family, my love The sun is shining, the birds singing, the trees dancing in the breeze I look forward to another day, but the anticipation is too much I want time to speed up, the days to go faster Until I am with the ones I love
