Alone

I'm left alone to fight this battle.
afraid to speak up because of
what others will think about me.
sorrow feel my soul, tears feel my eyes,
i can't release them because there's no one
around. keeping things buried deep inside
lying to others about whats going on around me.
saying I'm okay when inside i die each day. a soldier
for everyone but myself. i know i have to tell someone
but who can i tell, when I'm left alone to fight this battle.

By talking about your sorrow you heal yourself within. By burying shock, sorrow, unhappiness inside yourself, you are only germinating the seeds that cause depression and illness.
