Alone

So here I sit/ alone again
Time after time/ You know where I've been
This rejection phase/ Is starting to take me down
All of my smiles/ are turning to frowns
What can I do/ To make my path seem well
Instead of relying on myself/ To guide to hell
I've just about gave up/ on myself and my hopes
My dreams are washing away/ Like a stale coke
Still I know that I have to push on/ And continue down this path
It might be hard/ And it certainly kicks my....butt
Hopefully, I will find my role in life/ before it's all too late
While I sit alone again/ Awaiting my fate

isolation exists in isolation. Once it's shared it evaporates, R.M.
