Alone

Left alone with my thoughts,
Nothing good ever follows,
Emotionally hollow,
As the day grows on.

Left alone with myself,
My mind can't help but pace,
Frozen in this space,
As the days go on.

As the day grows on,

I'm left alone.

When the day grows on,
I'll be alone.

Left alone for good,
Unable to defend,
Some wounds can never mend,
As the days go on.

Alone, the pain is clear,
Depression..I can rely on,
Depend on...
As the day grows on.
