Alone
Loneliness is just an echo
That pierces thru your soul
There's no one for you to talk to
And you have no place to go
You're always filled with sorrow
Cause no one seems to care
No one wants to listen
To the things you have to share
Like the man alone out on the street
With no place to lay his head
Newspapers for his pillow
And a park bench for his bed
Or the woman in that cardboard box
That she calls her humble home
She's lost without redemption
With no family of her own
So just take a minute to listen
And show them that you care
Cause almost anything could happen
And it could be you out there
