Alone

everyone is not alone. everyone is surrounded by the world. love is something really good.
love can rule this kingdom if we can make it ours. (we is not you, we is not me. we is all of
us together. and ours is not mine, it is not yours. ours is something we share equally.) don't
be discouraged when the sun falls and the shadows come. they're here to give you another
chance. if your yesterday seems so long ago, be proud of all you have accomplished in the
hours past.

rally up your forces for more powerful defenses. what just you can do will change what out
there, the entire population of souls that strive for happiness, will become. and you will smile
at the ugliness that the world has changed to kindness. stretch, now, out your arms to reach
beyond your limit. goodness has become a battle. and you must win it by learning what to
fight for.

this used to be the sweetest world ever but then we skipped a chapter. the one that tells of
the simplicity of love, and peace, and the importance in holding onto each other. we were
not taught the meaning of the word embrace; erased from the pages, words such as that.
instructions on how to hold together, hold up, never hold back (your heart).

re-read these words i've written here. over and over again, until you really really get it. until
they are ingrained into your brains and you feel inspired to recover the world, and take it as
our kingdom now. our story now. our only chance now, to not be alone.
