Alone
I've never felt so alone,
Life came crashing down around me,
Thought I was building with the stone,
Turns out it was wet and sandy.
I've never felt so alone.
Isolated in my own life,
Tossed aside by my wife,
Nothing I can do to change this,
Hole in my chest , like a black abyss.
Empty chasm, broken heart,
Once a family, fell apart.
I've never felt so alone.
How did I end up here,
All a lie, now so clear,
I want to crawl inside a hole,
Alone, in darkness, a broken soul.
How does a man go on?
Nowhere to go, no destination in sight,
A man alone, his future gone,
He gave his all, and has lost his fight.
I've never felt so all alone.
