Alone

Alone, like a sailing vessel,
in the ocean, with no, one as vast, as one can see.
Alone, like the bright sun,
in the sky, away from earth,a light-year, of a degree.

Alone, like a stretch, of road,
in the middle, of the land, appearing miles away.
Alone, like a shaded reptile,
in the desert, waiting for, the next period of day.

Alone, like a huge red wood,
in the forest, for a long time, been there before.
Alone, like an aged grey wolf,
in his concealment, pausing to see, what's in store.

Alone, is how I am,
in the flesh, when not near, to whom, I now, hold true.
Alone, is a feeling,
in my heart, I refuse to feel, for I am, in love, with you.
