Almost Xanadu

Almost Xanadu, I was taken by you 
Out of the blue, you made my heart anew 
Showers of bliss fell from your kiss 
Feeling like this, I always miss 

I loved you like heaven, through odd and even 
Since you were seven and I was eleven 
World was so bright with the glow of your light 
I felt so right when you're by my sight 

But then one day, you drifted away 
I begged you to stay, but you left anyway 
Almost Xanadu, I was taken by you 
But like bird you flew and broke my heart in two
