Almost Gone [now He Is]

Almost gone (now he is)
When I talk to him
Even after years
My heart swells
And I smile from ear to ear
I fell for him and he caught me
Though he dropped me a few times
We always managed through
When we were in the dark
The lights dimmed on
When we lost our ark
Our ocean turned to pond
When I though our love had diminished
I talked to him and I knew we weren't through
I love him so much
I don't know what to do
I lost him for awhile
And I couldn't think
My muse had disappeared
My boat started to sink
But we reconnected
And a smile broke through
That cigarette I needed
Disappeared, it flew
I thought I was over him
But my head was wrong
I missed talking to him
More than I let on
My angel, my demeanor
My dark and my light
Maybe I shouldn't love him
But I don't care that we fight
I cant change my heart
And neither can he
Angels created us
We were meant to be
Ill always love him
He'll always be mine
People might not like it
But our minds have combined
We laugh at people
We hit the evil clowns
We love with a love that can not be found

PS. If only love could last forever.
