Almighty Storm
Thunder and lighting
Mighty wind and rain,
Makes a look so frightening
And one’s heart full of pain.
Oh little one, you look so pale
As the clouds start to gather,
But no threat, I will share my tale:
Once upon a stormy day,
I went to the garden to lay
Seeking the healing of rain
To let go of my anger and pain.
Still and unmoved I rested
It was I, who had been tested
The storm grew in intensity
Making my soul feel once again free.
Than lightning struck my house
Everything burned, even the mouse.
Alone I felt in this new world,
But my prayers were finally heard.
Although I have no material wealth
And I’m not so proud about my health
My soul is finally complete and liberated
And everything’s gone, that I’ve hated.
From my bed to the door,
From ugly stairs to the floor
Everything’s gone, and is no more.
And now I sit here in the rain,
Again pondering away,
But now I feel much better
For I am whiteout a doubt free
No one, and nothing to tie me
Down to the nether.
