Alluring Reputation
Alluring Reputation
He tried to lure me to his roost
Judging me by my outer shell
He sought a conquest – ego boost
But my faith soon made his life hell
First base? Okay, yes, we shared a kiss
I cringed when he let his hands roam
But then I said, “Listen to this!
The ref isn’t calling you home.”
I knew that sex without marriage
Had been forbidden by my church
To me it was a sacrilege
I walked away, left him in the lurch
This big man on campus now feared
No gals would find him alluring
What would he do if rumors cleared?
Torment he would be enduring
Couldn’t even reach second base
And as I continued to date
One boy saw my heart, not my face
The loser just used the wrong bait
