Angels clustered Heavenly sky
To tell the world Jesus was nigh
They heard, in a stable forlorn
Baby Jesus was being born.
The Son of God, His Holy gift
A new born King to us He gives
And Joseph his sweet child he kissed
His every prayer had been granted.
Mary laid Jesus on the hay
On that unique first Christmas Day
Then knelt in thanks to God the Lord
And promised to care for her ward.
Bitter hearts that cannot find rest
Souls that could not ever be blessed
May glory and God's love run through
God's will be done on earth to you.
Never forsake the dear Lord's name
For that would only produce shame
You certainly wouldn't wish to find
What was coming up from behind.
To feel the love, to feel the touch
Have faith in the heavenly crutch
It's a celebration of joy
Birth of a Holy baby boy.
Alleluia!
