All Wrong

My skin burns
I can’t hide from the sun
Tempered by these times
I can’t seem to make up my mind
Eternity no longer waits for me
Redemption still seems so far away
My patience has been wasted waiting in silence
I don’t feel like myself today
Nothing will ever pacify this soul too far gone
I’ve done my best
It still turned out all wrong
Maybe this is not my day to shine
