All That You Are
The clouds seemed to part and thunder shook my dark sky
I felt a glow in my heart and saw you in my mind’s eye
A great wonder crashed into earth, you fell like a falling star
I knew with you it was a love’s rebirth because of all that you are!
Such beauty you’ve shown me and healed my blind eyes
A whole world of poetry and in your arms I found paradise
My soul called out with a shout and you found me on your radar
I begin to lose faith, I doubt, but see you in glorious hue, in all that you are!
You strengthened my self-esteem and helped me believe again
A love straight out of my dream is how it all begins
You know I looked high and low; searched wide and far
I found you at the end of a rainbow and the jewel you are!
