All Part of Life

Tribulations, trials, persecution the lot, all part
Of what we must bear in this unfriendly world.
Cheer up and take courage, what’s waiting ahead,
Victory, joy unspeakable, the half has not been told.

Don’t get the idea that life is a bed of roses
A deception from the devil strikes the mind.
I’m not being negative, but realistic to say,
When mortal change to immortality, we’ll
Get there one day.

All part of life, and written in God’s holy word
For our learning, and to give us a bright hope,
Please don’t get me wrong, and don’t plan for failure,
God’s a present help, he’s near when you can’t cope.
