All On Me

All on Me… I can’t help but feel the strain Of the weight of a world I created Can’t mistake my inner faults and guilt That I have fallen way too short No serenade can I sing to you And of that I am ashamed No resolution and no compromise on the position I am in No other answer to the question than to turn and look at me Point the finger in my direction because in the end it is all on me… Can I right the wrongs that I’ve done each day Can two wrongs make a right of me Can I face the failures of my past Or of this day right here and now? If the mirror reflects the shadow or the light And if I’ll remain a part of the picture, we’ll see I am short on definition But long on words that paint the picture Feeling like I can’t move from day to day… I believe I must align my heart and mind as one My body and soul right behind They must follow suit, they must fall into line It may be my last chance at life…and it is high time we stood to live! No resolution and no compromise, I cannot sacrifice our needs In the end it is all on me No other answer to the question than to turn and look at me Point the finger in my direction because in the end it is all on me… I have to ask, for how long will you believe in this dream?? Because in the end, I want it all to fall on me…
