All Lies

Hey All Lies
By LoLa

I found you in the darkest part of every night
Beginning with the coldness of every winter heights
As thoughts retreat to a lost pacific sunset
I made a foolish bet and found myself filled with regret

So bet on something else to find your way home
Sometimes its in hell where our feet will truly roam
Its truly a fright in the silence of night
The thoughts that I have that seem so right

Will my soul ever find a brand new place
The wandering mind is an honest face
Will the passion I feel become a place in time
To steal the lofty standards of an honest crime

Crime is simply the other side of honor
Where demons can pierce the holes in my armor
Cause i was once was a blind lamb lead to the slaughter
First to love; last to live; im still my mother’s daughter

The daughter of a twisted fate
Nothing left for me but hate
The product of a broken spine
The day I had to cross that line

The day I said “I want to live”
Theres nothing left for me to give
I gave away my honest eyes
The pain that that steals my truest lies
