All I Want For Christmas

On my list
                 Are my wishes.
                     No fear.
                  Of the virus
            Instead, spreading love,
           End all the animosity,
                Amongst us.

              To breathe free.
             Without masks.
          Hug friends and family.
                 Be happy.
            Hear Mariah Carey,
            On the radio.
          Sing a Christmas carol.

         To enter any shop,
     Without a vaccine passport.
         Greet every stranger,
Not to fear you’re in danger.
           Because years ago,
          A baby was born.
             In a manger.
         He came from above,
          To bless us with love.

         To all my dear readers,
         A blessed Merry Christmas.
