All I Need

ALL I NEED

I don’t need a lot of wealth or fortune,
I don’t need a mansion, diamonds, or fame;
All I need is just the forgiveness of my sins
By faith in Jesus’ matchless name.
I don’t need the praise of many people,
I don’t need the things that I can’t afford;
All I need is just the eternal life He gives
In those bright mansions with my Lord.
I know this earth soon will crumble,
And I know that soon I will die,
But I know that after this body has decayed,
I’ll still be living up in the sky.
There I’ll never have a need or longing,
Then I’ll dwell with Jesus close by my side;
All I ever need I will have over there,
Forever more be satisfied.

These words written to “All I Need Is One More Chance To Love You.”
