All He Wanted

She wanted him
She needed him
She loved him

 

He didn't want her
He didn't need her
He didn't love her

 

She tried to be a help
She tried to be a friend
She wanted to be his love

 

He didn't want her help
He didn't want her to be a friend
He didn't want her love

 

She tried to talk to him
She tried to tell him
She tried to convince him

 

He wouldn't listen to her
He would shut her out
He would just walk away

 

She was broken
She was hurt
She was left alone

 

He broke her
He hurt her
He left her alone

 

She forgot him
She found someone new
She was happy

 

He never forgot her
He never found someone new
He was not happy...

 

Because he realized she was all he wanted.
