All Because of the Cross
Walking in freedom, forgiven of sin
and it's all because of the cross.
Where the Blood of Jesus flowed out from Him,
and reached to cover the lost.
All those who are empty and searching
all who are bound in their sin
Once kept from God's Holy presense
through Jesus can now enter in.
Now we have power, strength to succeed
because of that rugged old Cross
Where the Savior hung in shame and disgrace,
and paid such a terrible cost.
Because of our debt that we could not pay,
He paid one that He did not owe
With the Blood of His body that still reaches out
with a steady bright crimson flow.
It's all because of the Cross of Christ
and His unconditional love.
Because of His work on that Bloody old Cross
we're assured of a home up above.
We need not fear the storms of this life
or Satan who comes to accost.
He was defeated, his power is gone,
and it's all because of the Cross.
It was there at the Cross where Christ made things right
At the Cross where He died for my sin.
At the Cross ,at the Cross where Satan took flight,
defeated he could not win.
Christ took the keys of death and hell
and rendered him helpless that day.
From the Cross at Golgotha come a pure cleansing flow
that washes our sin all away.
