All Because of Calvary

When I'm faced with life's battle's and the outcome of defeat,
When I'm weary from the scars I bare, for the war has left me weak,
I just go to the cross of Jesus, where my pain can be set free.
And no longer will I be captive, all because of Calvary.

If he can move a mountain, he'll move one just for me,
If he can make a miracle, he'll make one just for me.
I won't give up just yet, I know, he'll win my victory,
With him I am the winner, all because of Calvary.

Very interesting poem, and I like the faith you put into writing it. I have a question: What if he lets you become defeated, or doesn't bring about the miracle? What do you mean by bringing about a miracle? What then? Are you still free and still the winner?

Andrena, a year later & reading over my poems this a.m. & comments. Thinking about your question I want you to go out side in the wee hours of some morning and just look at the beauty of the stars and sky and think how great God must be. Just to think how small you are to him, yet he knows your name, he knows all about you. I hope you know all about Him. Have a wonderful Christmas and New Year.

Andrena, I feel that I am always the winner! When I go to God in prayer with a problem that I am facing whether big or small I trust Him to make the right decision. Now its not always the way I am hoping for, but He has never failed me yet. Its just having faith and trust in the Lord and Believe.
