All about Christmas

Christmas is a wonderful time of the year
It’s a time for family and friends.
It seems to arrive much faster each year
The year too quickly ends.
Each year the attacks grow more intense
As the message of the season is told.
Many of us however wonder still
Why so many are growing less bold.
It still is about a most amazing birth.
A Child of miraculous design.
He entered the world by God’s decree
A babe though truly divine.
Though more and more this message will be scorned
By those with intelligence perceived.
The simple fact of the story my friend
Is that truth they never received.
So amid the Santa and reindeer moments
Which seem to be the center of attention,
The birthday of Christ and why He came
Should warrant much more than a mention.
Merry Christmas to all and a Happy New Year
The message to all is acclaimed.
May the reason we celebrate and rejoice each year
Once again, by all, be reclaimed.
