All

ALL

All the things I said would not be
I have become
All the things I said I would not do
I have done
All the dreams I dreamt
Have passed me by
All the time I’ve wasted
Makes me sigh

All the love that was given
Was not returned
All of those that tried
Were sometimes burned
All of this must now, come to an end
Now it’s my turn, to be that friend

So if, you ever feel a need
I promise to come running
At top speed
To help ,or just be
A listening ear
For you to me my friend
Are very dear

So nice, Thomas! I enjoyed your poem, which, incidentally, has a marvelous flow. Friendship is a reward most coveted.
