Alive After Death

As they prepared for her funeral
She opened her eyes and asked for water
She had passed away five hours back!
To everyone's amazement she came back.
Later she recounted her tale
To take her away came two male
As they were flying up they talked to her
Only to realise they were not supposed to pick her
Vexed they kicked her on her back
Inside her body she came back
That instance next door neighbour same name died
Proving it was neither imagined nor lied
Check her back for injury someone hinted
On it they found big footprints imprinted

A real happening.

Note: In Indian scriptures it is stated that after death we go to Yamaloka ruled by Yamaraj, king of death.. We are taken their by yamadhuthas
It takes one year of flying to reach it.

Rama, this is an outstanding poem! While I enjoyed learning about Indian culture, I could easily see two angels coming to take her spirit to heaven. Congratulations on a first-place win. Best wishes, Carolyn
