Alive

Alive

I have awaken alive
to whom do I thank?
I thank God as he has
Kept me alive overnight
to yet see another beautiful
day
to worship and pray

A day to walk into, that
is now keeping me breathing,
running, walking, talking and
smiling looking alive
now that I've allowed myself
to thrive
I am most grateful to be alive
in the new age, alive from
all war amongst the world
that occurred

Alive Alive to see a new
talent awake inside of
me

Alive today, tomorrow and
forever more to see
light at the end of this tunnel
that lies ahead of time
and stay dreaming now that
God has given me life, space
in my heart for you mom
to keep my spirit forever winning
from a million miles away
beyond the stars
