Alive

Dying body, drowning in rain
Finding courage to take the pain
But a spirit that soars up high
Casting its rays across the sky

And that whatever storm may blow
It will not yield its lively glow
It will remain stead and alive
To the gusty wind, it will jive

The trial of life may be tough
And the path it takes may be rough
But the glow of its burning ember
Will make a mark to remember

And in the night when sky is dark
The spirit will glow a bright spark
Until it breaths, it is alive
The bleeding shows that it does thrive
