Alimony - Broke For Nothing Ii

Alimony is selfish pay
punishment pay
retribution pay
dont you just want to go your own way?

what pleasure can you get
take blood money
what I can't understand
is your laziness in this life
of value?
what about earning your own way?

Of course, now i see how you set it all up
never working
always fighting
always just too unsure
crybaby one minute, banshee the next
he never had a chance.

no one owes you anything in this life
and my prayer is
you will make a fatal mistake
and everyone
will KNOW.

Yes, in divorce couples should separate - and that means one is not responsible for the maintenance of the other. Alimony destroys so many people, not just financially but destroys their spirit as they are chained to a former spouse financially. It does not allow healing, for either person.
