Alienated

Do you feel alone with no-one at all
When you have news no-one to call
A dinner for two but no-one to share
Alone with no-one and no-one to care
Your only human contact an elderly homeless man
Cause from all other relationships you took off and ran
The idea of commitment scares you
Not wanting to meet anyone new
Too many years of being alone
You're now stuck in your own zone
With no-one the time has passed you by
To alienate I ask you why?
Not really knowing why or how
You say to change is too late now
Destined to live a life alone
No-one to help or share your home
Alone with no-one and no-one to care
Alienation took her there.

Very melancholy and powerful, Susan, (and I think we've all been there) ... wonderful write! Blessings and congrats on your win! :-)

Fine write Susan, so very true indeed, nice rhyme and flow too.
