Alfred Nobel
 
You had the mind for art and science,
 shared business interest with your father,
 not broken even when you lost your brother –
 will to achieve by work inspired.
 
You built a fortune and empire,
 busy yet lonely in affairs.
 Metaphysical reality
 in life of struggle you acquired.
 
You changed the lives of many people,
 sensitive was your noble spirit:
 the poet, peace maker and scientist.
 
Entire mankind you enabled
 with gift of fortune, nobility.
 You changed the world and our reality.

Art Wielgus, Welcome to Poetry soup, I hope you enjoy the community. Here, you will find friendly poets who enjoy supporting one another.
