Alexithymia

She always told me,
Don't you fall in love,
I'm not the one that,
you are thinking of.
She tells me that she,
Doesn't feel the stuff,
She thinks she's hated,
From up above.

It makes me cry that
I can't show her love.
I always thought she
Was the only one.
It makes me die that,
She is so tough.
I love her so,
But it ain't enough.

See I've been played,
And cheated so much,
My poor heart was
starting to lose touch.
So I locked it in an iron vault,
Gave her the key,
But it ain't her fault.

She always told me,
Don't you fall for me,
I'm not the girl that,
You need to need.
It makes me cry that,
She wants to feel,
But fears finding
Something that's real.

It makes me die
For her every day,
Thinking someone
Must live that way.
