Alexander Briant

He was raised Protestant – later, upon studies, he converted to Catholicism and became a Jesuit as is current pope Francis. He labored with zeal after ordination, proclaiming true religion to all Nations. With six other priests he was arraigned on the charge of high treason and condemned to death by an English court. He was subjected to inhuman tortures and executed. In prison, he converted many fellow prisoners, imprinting the cross of Christ on their minds.
