Alcoholism

It’s never crystal clear anymore
Not hiding in that curved little
glass shelter
Not since you took that as your
escape route
Just because it got tough to
keep it together
Thinking you could drop the
precious things
Just drowning, falling, into the
icy liquid burn
Lasting long enough to keep
you in the dark
Never giving you the guts to
change anything
Living in your own little
heavenly hell
Treating it like your ticket
through the exit
When all this ever is, is just
your cowardice
Too afraid to just stop
pretending

And a doorway for demons to get in. Well that's my point view. Educational words my friend. Peace and blessings.
