Albatross

Night and day,
the wings ache
This wind,
keeps him awake

I see you there,
cruising the sea air
This long wing,
comforting

Night and day
Many miles covered
Flight astray
Many seas discovered

Albatross
Southern seas
Southern cross
Antartic freeze

This wing
Home it will bring
Albatross
Southern cross

Night skies
Southern stars
Albatross flies
