Aladdin's Lamp

I light my precious oil Aladdin’s lamp As I poured some wine, in a split sec A genie appeared, as if by command: “You’ve lift the lid, just put it back I don’t perform anymore, better try Another bottle, to get the one Who can help, if you venture to apply", Said the genie, and instantly he was gone Gobsmacked, I rose from my sagged bed Opened the website of Aladdin Not a single mention of genies I met Poorly designed lamps filled the screen So I got me another bottle of red Then another, and soon I lost count Come back for a drink, genie, haven’t I said All your wonders I can go without.
