Ain'T Just a Fairytale

I was once asked what is love?
I didn't think, but expressed what I have.
Feelings mixed and burst, doubted it as "Confusion".
But no it wasn't, It was all the right emotions.

Love ain't that simple.
But surely that it was humble.
It all ain't just happiness and laughter
Sometimes can even be sacrifice and disaster.

Love meant a thousand words.
Like lovers think its worth the whole wide world.
Like the gaze of moon and stars at night,
With all the bruises and cuts of a bloody fight.

Perfect picture of a daydream.
A real fantasy as it may seem.
But nightmares can still come alive,
Find a dream catcher to survive.

Love isn't just happiness
It can be found when you feel the emptiness.
Sometimes not with the smile and warm embrace
But when you feel the pain and absence of heart beat's race.

Love is an art of beauty
A painting of strength, happiness and tragedy
More than just a fantasy, ain't just a fairy tale.
It is a journey where your choices are to win or to fail.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
