Cozy comfort
Silky bed linen;
Somnolence sums

~~~~~~~~~


Humid heat wave
Hot sticky sweat;
Fatigue brines

~~~~~~~~~


Thought in deep sway
Philosophy flings;
Wit sums humour

~~~~~~~~~


Love the first-cause
Life dances brisk;
Symbiosis

~~~~~~~~~


Start here
Live now;
Death sums

~~~~~~~~~


In this moment
Eternity hurls;
All-in bet

~~~~~~~~~


Too late now
Old man yearns;
Death's one leg in

~~~~~~~~~


Waiting time
Long clinic queue;
Off-flavour faces

~~~~~~~~~


Smiling old man limps
Terrier runs around;
Barking commands

~~~~~~~~~


Morning repast
Make smiles curl;
Silent conversations

~~~~~~~~~


Less talk is more
Everyone agrees;
Loud chatter boxes

~~~~~~~~~


Bamboo saplings
Promises to keep;
Haiku moments

~~~~~~~~~


Being blooms
Becoming grooms;
Now empty room!

Zen garden moods
Configured space;
Meditative

Old man stares
Moon struck smiles;
Soliloquy

~~~~~~~~~


In my dreams
Mother smiles;
Father sips beer

Heart thinks
Mind feels
Cross over well

Green grass verge
Floral beauty hides;
Unseen glamour
