Aging

patches of rain
dampened cobwebs on yew bushes --
the gray in my hair

the creaking of the
screen door swaying in the wind --
my knees in motion

the sight of a
one headlighted car passing by --
my dimming childhood

finishing an expert
crossword without a dictionary --
wisdom
