Aging

Innocent angel sent from God
I am feeble and somewhat odd
I play and eat, I cry and sleep
As you pray God my soul to keep

The older I get the more I learn
The more I get to crash and burn
The more I smile because of my friends
And wish my teen life doesn’t end

But now I’m weak as a child again
My health becomes difficult to maintain
And now I slowly lose my breath
My last day; a touch from death
