Aging

My dad has aged and so have we, in our reflection it was so clear to see As he struggled to sit up in bed, his white pale face turn red, screaming in agony My dads body was so fragile, his limbs were weak, but he still spoke in style He said in a calm steady voice, my son in life some things I have done, but some things are not meant to be Forever, my heart is still young, but my body can no longer carry me In pain he whispered, the good days are now gone, enjoy yourself while you can my son I looked at his face and so spark of life in his eyes and the will to live for eternity Aging is the sad part of nature, but forever young you cannot be Saleh Ben Saleh
